Angus Chak’s musical journey began at the tender age of 5 when he first touched the piano keys. What started as a simple hobby quickly blossomed into a remarkable passion. By the time he was 8, Angus had earned High Distinction in his Grade 3 ABRSM exam, a feat he replicated in Grade 4 and most recently with Grade 5 AMEB. His dedication and talent have set him apart as a young musician with exceptional promise.
In 2024, Angus expanded his repertoire by taking up the trumpet and double bass, driven by his enthusiasm for music and a desire to collaborate with fellow young musicians. This broadened his musical horizons and deepened his commitment to exploring the world of sound and harmony. His efforts were rewarded with a prestigious vocal music scholarship at Sydney Grammar Preparatory School, Edgecliff, further cementing his bright future in music.
Angus finds joy not only in solo performances but also in playing duets with his father, seamlessly blending their instruments in harmonious collaboration. With an unyielding passion for music and a growing collection of achievements, Angus is poised for an exciting and inspiring musical journey in the years to come.
